BELIEVING

Emmanuel - Matthew 1:23 - .." and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us". God with us...being led by the Spirit of God is so satisfying and develops a heart for serving Him. How wonderful that sometimes when we don't know what to pray for, He intercedes on our behalf. Romans 8:26 .." In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.." Today let your heart be filled with God's Holy Spirit...
For me, it is all about BELIEVING........Amen

B = BOLD in approaching God
E = EVER trusting Him
L = LETTING Him take control of every area of my life
I = INSIGHT that is God given
E = EARS to listen and hear Him in the quiet stillness
V = VICTORY over all things through faith in Him and strength given by Him
I = IGNITED by His Holy Spirit dwelling in me and having a passion for Him
N = NEW beginnings that He has provided and eternal New life in Him
G = GOD Almighty, my Rock, my strength and my fortress

Praise Him and all glory to Him.... Selah

COURAGE

Our God is faithful....all praise and honour and glory to Him. He restores us daily as we feed on His Word and digest His promises....... Acts 27: 25 " So keep up your courage...for I have faith in God.."

In my life today this translates as:-

C = CHRIST at the helm, steering me in the right direction

O = Oceans of darkness that can swallow you

U = Under the wings of God and secure in His arms

R = Raging storms all around that batter and pound

A = Angels with His message to let go of fear

G = Great is His faithfulness forever (1 Corinthians 1:9 - "God...is faithful..")

E = Expect the victory when you walk with Him holding your hand

How wonderful that we have this encouragement with His Holy Spirit dwelling in us.."Be strong and courageous...do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.." Joshua 1:9 Amen
